A key question was asked at the ISS-SEMI conference in Grenoble earlier this week: "Is 450mm a curse or a blessing?"
The question was asked by Rutger Wijburg, senior vice president for front end manufacturing at NXP during a panel session on semiconductor manufacturing in Europe.
