ASICS.ws achieves USB 2.0 HS-OTG Certification

June 27, 2005 ASICS World Services, Ltd. is proud to announce that it is one of the first companies in the world to achieve USB 2.0 HS-OTG Compliance Certification.

The USB 2.0 HS-OTG IP Core is a Dual-Role-Device (DRD) that can operate as either a USB 2.0 Device or as a USB 2.0 Host in a point-to-point on- the-go (OTG) connection.

In addition to the HS-OTG certification, ASICS World Services also was able to achieve USB 2.0 HS-Device certification for its Device-Only IP Core.

Both IP Cores support UTMI+ L2/UTMI and ULPI interfaces. Customers have a choice between a wide variety of off-the-shelf PHYs or PHY IP blocks.

Both the USB 2.0 HS-OTG and USB 2.0 Device IP Cores have already been licensed to many customers and are proven in silicon. Demonstration and evaluation systems are available upon request.

The certification process was performed at the USB-IF organized plug- fest June 21 to June 24, 2005 in Milpitas CA, USA.
