Kilopass Names CFO for Next Growth Phase

Appoints Cory Sindelar with 20 years of Experience as Senior Financial Executive at Software and Semiconductor Companies
Santa Clara, Calif. –– April 1, 2011 –– Kilopass Technology Inc., a leading provider of semiconductor logic non-volatile memory (NVM) intellectual property (IP), today named Cory J. Sindelar to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Sindelar joins Kilopass with an extensive 20-year background as a senior financial executive working for software and semiconductor companies. Most recently, he served as vice president and CFO at Ikanos Communications, Inc., a leading provider of advanced broadband semiconductor and software products. During his tenure at Ikanos, he led several strategic transactions, including the purchase of Conexant Systems’ broadband access product line and the technology behind its advanced vectoring solutions.

Sindelar was vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer at Legato Systems from 2000 to 2003 when it was acquired by EMC Corporation. He continued with EMC Corporation for an additional three years in various roles, including director of finance for the Legato business unit, director of global business operations for EMC Software Group and divisional CFO for Captiva Software, another EMC acquisition, before joining Ikanos in 2006.
Sindelar, a certified public accountant in California, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Georgetown University.
