Vanguard Video to Showcase its new HEVC Codec with Imagine Communications at NAB 2015
Las Vegas, NV – April 13, 2015 - Vanguard Video, a leading provider of HEVC and H.264 codec technologies, will release version 3.0 of their professional HEVC software codec, V.265, at NAB 2015 (South Hall; SU8525). V.265 v3.0 provides significant low-latency optimizations to support encodes as low as 2 frames and adds support for GOP-aligned adaptive bit-rate (ABR) multistreaming, making it one of the most robust codec SDKs on the market for both real-time and live streaming applications. In addition, V.265 v3.0 provides API enhancements for granular level access to frame-level and region-of-interest parameters capable of complete support for external rate control integration.
