Netspeed Systems Accelerates Global Adoption of its On-Chip Network IP with new Office in Tokyo
San Jose, Calif., April 20, 2015—NetSpeed Systems Inc., the supplier of on-chip network IP that streamlines SoC design, today announced the launch of its Japanese office located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and led by Kenichi Sakamaki, Japan Country Manager.
Since the founding of its Silicon Valley office in 2011, NetSpeed has seen an explosion of growth outside the U.S. With ongoing successes in the U.S. and abroad, NetSpeed aims to catalyze its breakthrough on-chip Network IP technology in Japan and serve semiconductor customers through its local office. “NetSpeed has always had a global strategy and this has fueled our growth tremendously,” said Sundari Mitra, co-founder and CEO at NetSpeed. “We have a rapidly growing number of design wins, both in the US and abroad, with leading enterprise, networking, mobile and FPGA companies. Kenichi Sakamaki is a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of experience in sales management for a broad range of semiconductor IP products in Japan. Most recently, he was the General Manager of Denali Software KK where he created a dominating market position for Denali's memory controllers and memory modeling verification IP. Before that he was at Marubeni Solutions Corporation where he served as General Manager of Sales for EDA product lines including simulation, synthesis, verification and layout tools.
