Ericsson Bluetooth Baseband Technology Available Through IBM's Blue Logic IP Library
Ericsson Technology Licensing today announced that the company has become a member of IBM's Blue Logic Intellectual Property Collaboration program.
Feb 6, 2003 - The agreement means that Ericsson's Bluetooth baseband design solutions will be available for IBM ASIC design applications. The solution will be offered in both 0.18 and 0.13-micron process.
"We believe that the best way to drive the Bluetooth market forward is to partner with other world leading companies. IBM is a world leading ASIC manufacturer and we are looking forward to introducing our technology in their process," said Maria Khorsand, president of Ericsson Technology Licensing.
"IBM's long standing relationship with Ericsson has already brought highly integrated system-on-chip solutions to the mobile infrastructure market," said Tom Reeves, Vice President, ASIC product group, IBM Microelectronics. "Now as part of our IP collaboration program, Ericsson can help increase the offerings in the IBM library of solutions."
