MIPS Technologies 24Kc Core to Power Advanced Digital Set-Top Boxes; Scientific-Atlanta Licenses MIPS32 24Kc Core
Mountain View, CA, January 18, 2005 - MIPS Technologies, Inc., (Nasdaq: MIPS), a leading provider of industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications, announced today that Scientific-Atlanta has licensed the MIPS32® 24Kc™core for use in their next generation of highly integrated semiconductors for digital set- top boxes.
