ICScape Grows Globally (Tuesday May. 15, 2012)
ICScape Inc. today announced that after enabling over 100 successful customer tapeouts, it is now ready to market its solutions worldwide. The expansion is driven by US$28 million in financial backing the company received in 2011, mostly from China Electronics Corporation (CEC), China’s largest electronics conglomerate with 2011 revenue of over US$23 billion.

Microchip Technology and SMSC Announce the Acquisition of SMSC by Microchip Technology (Wednesday May. 02, 2012)
Microchip has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SMSC for $37.00 per share in cash, which represents a total equity value of about $939 million, and a total enterprise value of about $766 million, after excluding SMSC's cash and investments on its balance sheet of approximately $173 million.

IDT to Acquire PLX Technology, Inc. (Wednesday May. 02, 2012)
Integrated Device Technology (IDT) and PLX Technology, Inc. today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement pursuant to which IDT will acquire PLX. RDA Microelectronics Acquires Baseband IP from Coolsand (Wednesday Mar. 28, 2012)
RDA Microelectronics today announced that it has acquired all of the baseband intellectual property of Coolsand Holding Co., Ltd., a privately held baseband company with business operations in China, and its subsidiaries ("Coolsand"). The consideration paid is $46 million, comprised of approximately $20 million in cash and 15 million RDA ordinary shares.
