Sonics said today that its SonicsMX product has been selected by Core Logic as part of the company’s chip design for a multimedia product with HD video. Core Logic expects to ship its design by end of Q4 2010.

CEVA DSP Powers Samsung's First Generation LTE Modem (Wednesday Feb. 17, 2010)
CEVA today announced that Samsung Electronics has deployed CEVA DSP core technology in their first generation commercial Long Term Evolution (LTE) modem. The Kalmia modem chipset supports download speed up to 100Mbps and upload speed of 50Mbps within the 20MHz frequency bandwidth.
