Functionality

Looking for a 256-bit codeword with 7 bit correction, 8 bit detection ECC engine. It should be purely combinational logic with some gating in the decoder to manage power consumption/surge. This engine is for use in a 28nm design.

External compatibility and integration requirements

No particular requirement. standard 256-bit parallel memory with ecc engine sitting between the memory and IO.
