MIPS Technologies and EE Solutions Bring MIPS(R) Architecture to Semiconductor Companies across China and Taiwan (Tuesday Jul. 07, 2009)
MIPS and EE Solutions announced they are teaming to provide semiconductor companies in China and Taiwan with easy access to MIPS' industry-standard technology. EE Solutions licensed the synthesizable MIPS32(R) 24KEc(TM) core as part of its digital IP portfolio and will work with MIPS to provide value-added solutions to joint customers.

CEO: CSwitch halted operations, seeks buyer (Friday Jul. 03, 2009)
As had been rumored, programmable logic startup CSwitch Corp. has ceased operations and is looking to be acquired, the company's top executive confirmed Friday (July 3). CSwitch President and CEO Doug Laird told EE Times that investors made the decision to temporarily halt operations sometime within the last few weeks.

Gartner Says Worldwide Semiconductor Revenue to Decline 22 Percent in 2009 (Thursday May. 28, 2009)
Worldwide semiconductor revenue is forecast to reach $198 billion in 2009, a 22.4 percent decline from 2008 revenue of $255 billion, according to the latest projections by Gartner, Inc. This outlook is slightly better than the first quarter projections, when Gartner forecast semiconductor revenue to decline 24.1 percent in 2009.
